Thank you for visiting my website. I hope that the next couple of minutes that you will spend browsing my website will make you want to be my friend, and contact me for a chat over a cup of coffee!
The purpose of the Happiness Notebook website is to share my strategies and thought experiments on happiness and success. I also interview inspiring people from various fields and distil their DNA for success into actionable tools that you can use.
I believe that everyone can achieve success in any areas — whether in career, health, family, love, wealth and more — it’s just a question of strategies. All you have to do is to replicate the mental blueprint — tactics, routines and habits — of successful people who have achieved what you wanted.
Who am I?
I’m Eng Beng, a Singaporean writer
currently based in Seoul, South Korea , now back in my beloved city state.
The idea for Happiness Notebook came about when my Facebook post went viral and appeared in the news ( Channel 8 News, and Lianhe Wanbao ) before I left Singapore earlier this year. Numerous netizens urged me share how I turned adversities into opportunities for success.
I was born in a poor and dysfunctional family, mum was mentally unwell and dad was always in debt. At one point, when I was a kid, I had to shoplift for food. Years later, crippled by a mountain of debts from loansharks, we lost our home. When I was still in school, I worked seven-day week to buy a new house for the family.
At 34, I cleared the six-figure debt and paid up my house. More importantly, I have mended the relationship with my parents, and found the girl of my life. Today, I am now living my dream, travelling the world and connecting with game-changers around the world to work on the Happiness Notebook.
If you would like to get the PROVEN tactics that I used to take control of my life, get your free copy of my ebook Personal Success Playbook by entering your email in the sign up box below. I talk about how I used a classic success formula and four strategies to turn my life around — paying off a six-figure debt and housing mortgage at the age of 34, finding love, and mending family relationship.
Also, if you like and support what I am doing here — creating a notebook of tips for happiness and success, pass it on to someone who might be interested or in need.
